Slow Beginnings Bible Journaling Class

$25.00

Thursday, Feb. 26, 6–8pm | Alloy 13 Artisans @ Aluminum City Arts | 200 Freeport Rd, New Kensington | $25 per ticket

January and the beginning of a new year often come with pressure to change, fix, or reinvent ourselves. Slow Beginnings offers a different invitation.

This Bible journaling class is a gentle, guided space to slow down, reflect, and sit with Scripture without urgency or expectation. Together, we’ll explore the idea that meaningful growth often begins quietly, beneath the surface, long before anything blooms.

Using Mark 6 and other supporting Scriptures, we’ll look at Jesus’ invitation to rest in the midst of weariness, grief, and ongoing need. Through simple, step-by-step art and journaling practices, participants will be guided into reflection that feels accessible whether you consider yourself creative or not.

This class is not about making perfect pages or having the right answers. It’s about showing up, making small marks, and allowing space for rest, honesty, and presence with God.

All supplies are provided and shared at the table. You’re welcome to bring a Bible if you’d like, but it’s not required. No art experience necessary.

Space is limited to keep the group small and intentional.

Come as you are. Create simply. Slow down and begin again—quietly.
